December 29 2011 - Grant to help Susquehanna Trail
A $321,000 state grant to the Susquehanna Warrior Trail Council will fund a three-mile addition to the existing 10-mile trail in southern Luzerne County. Julie McMonagle, president of the council, said the nonprofit organization received the grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources in mid-December.
