Ski scene: Train experience the perfect way to get to North Creek
We traveled on the Gore Snow Train this past Sunday, leaving the Saratoga Station at 7 a. m. and arriving in North Creek at 9:15 a. m. Promptly the shuttle buses to Gore Mountain picked us up and whisked us up the mountain road to Gore. We were dropped off conveniently at the entrance to the main base lodge. You wouldn’t get better service if you were skiing at a major western ski resort. |

The Marine Corps Reserves' Dunkin' Donuts Toys for Tots Train, presented by the Canadian Pacific Railway, is making its annual trip across New York. The train will stop at 8:50 a.m. in Mechanicville, at 9:50 a.m. at Saratoga Station and at 11:15 a.m. at Whitehall Station. |
