commuter rail line and service owned and operated by New Jersey Transit in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The line loops off the Main Line between the Meadowlands and Glen Rock, with trains continuing in either direction along the Main Line. It is colored on NJT system maps in yellow, and its symbol is a cattail. Peak trains arrive in Hoboken on weekdays between 7:09 am and 8:57 am; they leave Hoboken on weekdays between 4:29 pm and 6:24 pm.

rail line owned and operated by New Jersey Transit in the United States that runs from Suffern, New York to Hoboken, New Jersey. It runs daily commuter service and was once the former north-south main line of the Erie Lackawanna Railroad. It is colored yellow on NJ Transit system maps, and its symbol is a water wheel. The Bergen County Line splits off the Main Line just west of the Secaucus Junction transfer station and rejoins it at Ridgewood. Service is diesel-powered. Peak trains arrive in Hoboken on weekdays between 7:21 am and 8:54 am and leave Hoboken on weekdays between 4:15 pm and 7:02 pm.
Montclair-boonton Line

commuter rail line on New Jersey Transit Rail's Hoboken Division. It is a consolidation of the Montclair Branch and the Boonton Line, formed when the Montclair Connection opened on September 30, 2002. Out of 31 inbound and 34 outbound daily weekday trains, 21 inbound and 22 outbound Midtown Direct trains (about 66%) use the Kearny Connection (opened June 10, 1996) to Secaucus Junction and New York Penn Station; the rest go to Hoboken Terminal. Trains to Hoboken run only at rush hour. Passengers can transfer at Secaucus Junction, Newark Broad Street Station, Montclair State University or Dover to reach another destinations if necessary.
