Authorities have released the name of the man who was hit and killed by a Canadian Pacific freight train in western New York last weekend. State police tell local media that 26-year-old Joshua Hudson of Hornell was struck by the eastbound train around 6:50 a.m. Sunday about a quarter-mile west of a crossing in the Allegany County village of Canaseraga, 50 miles south of Rochester.
