For the one-year period ending September 2010, there were 12,383 passengers getting on or off the train in Ottumwa. For the same period this year, that number dropped to 10,497 passengers using the Ottumwa station. In fact, all of Iowa has seen a reduction in ridership, said Amtrak spokesman Marc Magliari. |
