(Lawrence County) to Struthers, Ohio (Mahoning County). An asphalt surface nearly 10 feet wide rolls through farmlands and forests near the bank of the Mahoning River and the Pennsylvania and Lake Erie Railroad. |
June 14 2011 - George Furda George Furda, 92, of New Castle, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011, in the Evergreen Nursing Center. He was born in Eighty Four, PA, on February 2, 1919, the son of the late Michael and Anna Furda. He worked as a general foreman for 42 years on the Pennsylvania Railroad. |
