December 29 2011 - Camarillo whites not horsing around in Rose Parade
For decades, they graced the streets of Pasadena each January, completing the 5 ½-mile Rose Parade route as their silver saddles gleamed in the sunlight. With each trained stride, they'd lift their hooves in one perfect movement. Step by step, they'd trot along Orange Grove to Colorado Boulevard, then to Sierra Madre Boulevard and finally to Paloma Street. |
