The Demarest Garden Club's Ed's Garden Railroad Project has topped projects from six states — New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland, as well as the District of Columbia — to win the Civic Development or Improvement Award, in the medium club category, administered by the Central Atlantic Region of National Garden Club.
