February 11 2011 - Bald Knob run suffers derailment
As the Cass Scenic Railroad train neared the Bald Knob station Friday, two passenger cars came off the track, halting the trip. Trainmaster Fred Bartels said the incident was a small hiccup and didn’t cause any damage or injuries. |

The railroad says the locomotive is to arrive at Bald Knob the evening of June 6 for a one-night stopover and will be on display from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. June 7. It departs the next morning for North Little Rock and will be on display there June 9 before leaving June 10. |
