Looking Back
City officials were trying to determine if Tuscaloosa owned a washed-out road leading to Sherwood Drive under the Louisville and Nashville Railroad trestle. A deed recorded in 1939 showed the sale of the right of way to the city by the University of Alabama for $5, but no record could be found that the city accepted the deed. |
